It’s fully creatively aligned. And you know you what you must charge to make it work.


You even know a couple of past clients or people in your network who would really benefit.


Ok, I’ll reach out, you tell yourself. A simple message, you don’t need a whole pitch or sales call - these are people you already know would love to take part. Easy.


Except a week goes by, and still nothing. 

The message sits in a tab in your mind. 

There’s always something more urgent that takes precedence. How convenient.

And then, the date gets too close, it’s too late, the moment has passed. Next year, you say. Feeling contracted.


The fear of rejection isn’t just about sharing your work online.

Sure, that’s fun, you can build a brand with content. 

But it is often far more subtle, easy to miss. And directly affects your bottom line.


Because while everyone tells you that following the song of your soul is how to make the big cash...


What they don't tell you is that when you care so much about what you are creating, when it is so meaningful, rejection becomes a poison we will do anything to avoid.


So we procrastinate.


We reject ourselves rather than face this outwards.

All the wile, keeping our work small - frustrated that we are following our passion and purpose yet getting nowhere financially.


The only way through is, well, through.
